Yogic Tools for Improving Mental Health

Stress, Anxiety and depression are conditions that are becoming common place and affect many of us during our lifetime.

This six  week course is designed to reduce stress and enhance well-being. Through a combination of mindfulness techniques, breathing and yogic movement, you will learn simple practices to bring together body and mind, helping establish a sense of emotional ease.

The practices are specifically designed to enable us to:

  • Manage stress, anxiety and /or depression better
  • Enhance concentration and focus
  • Expand mental tolerance of uncomfortable feelings
  • Improve well-being

The classes will give you a deeper understanding of the physiological and psycological dimensions of stress, anxiety and depression, and a toolkit to help you manage your mental well-being better both in short term and long term.

Your practice is supported with a booklet and easy to follow short practices to do at home. 


I usually weave this course into my classes now but it can be taught as a stand alone course.
